Oooooohhhhh ladies....fall is here! Have you cleaned out your summer wardrobe yet out of your closet??? I know it's still hot as a mother in Houston BUT let's not forget you can "transition" into fall and still be dressed appropriately. Whether you want to spend $70 or $300 you can find something for you at Carrie Ann no matter what your budget is. For those who don't know I recently launched my online site shopcarrieann.com Yay!! So exciting. So if you don't live in Houston or don't have time to shop have no fear.
One major trend for fall is leather. Leather is on everything these days from dresses to leggings and we have it. We just got in an adorable Mink Pink tiger print dress with faux leather detailing that's just enough to add that edgy look. Also, on our site you will see one of our favorite bloggers of Style to Envy, Valerie Anderson wearing a Plenty by Tracy Reese black dress with leather on the sleeves and sides...talk about HOT HOT! It's sexy without being hoochie. Another way to wear leather that is shown on shopcarrieann is on a jacket as seen on Karli Gillum of fashionbillie. It's a Yoana Baraschi jacket that is draped in the back and in the front. It's a casual yet cool look.
Next is animal print. Who doesn't love animal print??? We have a lot of different prints such as tiger, leopard, and snake skin. One of my favorites is our leopard/cheetah print Mink Pink sweater. It's so snuggly and looks great with leggings. ($95.00) Now if like snake skin handbags you are in luck! I started carrying Haydee Callejas about a year ago which is how I met my friends Nadia and Gabriella who represent the line of bags here in Houston. You can view the bags at monvenin.net or at Carrie Ann in Uptown Park. They have several different sizes, styles, and colors.
Lastly, tunics tunics tunics! These days it's about what can you wear with leggings...right? personally I love them but I know I'm not the only one because I have several people everyday looking for a new tunic to wear with their black leggings. Again, on my site you will see Brooke Wise of Style Wise wearing the cutest tunic from Twinkle. It can be worn with booties or flats...so comfy and chic. Yoana Baraschi and Plenty by Tracy Reese have great options as well.
Those are my top favorite fall trends and I love that you can budget or splurge on them. :)Happy Shopping.
