Head to the beach on a budget and still feel chic

Every girl wants to go to the beach in style but not break the bank while doing so. Here are a few items that will make you feel fashionable and gorgeous.
1. It's important to have a great book to read while lounging in the sun so pick up Chelsea Handler's new book, "Are You There, Vodka? It's Me Chelsea." You will die laughing while getting your beach babe tan.
2. Feel fabulous in this adorable green striped 2 piece bathing suit. You will for sure have heads turning.

3.Need a cover up that you can still feel great in? This white dress is a great cover up that is stylish to go to lunch or meet with friends in.
4. Get an affordable pair of flip flops that you can throw away at the end of summer and not feel guilty. Old Navy has several different styles and colors to choose from.
5. Of course you will need glamorous sunglasses while sunning. Isaac Mizrahi has fabulous sunglasses in different colors and styles. These are my personal favorite to go with your swim attire.
6. Make sure you have a beach tote to fit all of your goodies in. Target has every size, color, and style imaginable.
7. Don't forget your fashionista beach towel to lay in the sand with. If you want to keep in the color scheme then check out this one:
However, if you want to take a step out there and rock your fashion sense then look at these fantastic pop art towels:
8. Last but not least, make sure you have your water bottle. You can't have any ordinary water bottle...please! These are affordable and add the last touch to your to die for beach fabulousness. Check out Target to pick out your favorite style.

Hi I was wondering if if you recommend any types of sunscreen?I know there are so many, and with the harmful rays from the sun, skin cancer is such a big concern(or it should be).I would really like a sunscreen that doesn't feel like pasty oil,and has a nice scent.Any suggestions?

I will say that finding a sunscreen that does not have some type of smell is difficult. I personally like to use Coppertone. The initial application may feel a little greasy but it does not feel that way the entire time you have it on. They have it in lotion form as well as spray. Again, if you use the spray it will feel a little icky at first but then it goes away. Here's some of the top rated sunscreens if you would like to try others as well. http://beauty.ivillage.com/shop/prodreviews/0,,9xll,00.html
Also, if you would like to have a little color but still protect your skin then try Loreal Self-Tanning lotion. It gives you a gradual tan and has a SPF 15. Be sure to rub in thoroughly to avoid streaks. Enjoy=)
